Tasting the Regional Wine and Food
During your stay, it is impossible not to be tempted by the delicious regional food and wine. The local wine region is unique in being home to two AOCs: Madiran and Pacherenc-du-Vic-Bilh. This is particularly original as Madiran is an appellation that only produces reds and Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh, a small, little known appellation with sweet and dry whites. These two appellations coexist in the same production area for the enjoyment of enthusiasts.

This truly exceptional restaurant is located in a small village in the Hautes-Pyrénées, in Galan in Occitanie. Village listed as a French heritage site for its church, its city gate and its Halles. A stroll through the streets of the village will give you a glimpse of this rich past. Australian Chef Luke MacLeod has worked in the greatest kitchens in the world, notably under the direction of renowned Chefs such as Alain Senderens or Michel Guérard.

The farm inn opened in 1987, with the ultimate goal that you feel at home here.
Very quickly, customers praised the quality of the meals, the generosity of the plates and praised the garbure, the stuffed hen, and the flans. The old stables have been wonderfully restored, having a very warm style, with natural materials, while keeping “atmosphere” of the old barn. The farm raises Black Hens from Astarac de Bigorre, the “famous stuffed hen”.
